This weekend was Family Day, here in BC. We went to a beach in Parksville to enjoy the views and spend some down time together. It’s a rare event to get so much snow in February, so was pretty neat to see a blanket of white covering the beach.
As you may know, I keep a notebook handy wherever I go, for when inspiration strikes…and it did!
After a few minutes I noticed I was doodling flowers and dreaming about the warm weather that’s sure be back in the next month.
I don’t know about you, but thought a lovely way to celebrate spring approaching was with a themed doodle coloring sheet freebie!! It may not be warm yet, but at least the sheet will give kiddos (and adults) a smile, or two, while thinking of spring flowers. 🙂
I’m happy to say my initial sketches are done for the coloring freebie, and will be hopping into illustrating it on the computer. I hope to have the sheet complete and posted in a couple weeks – or maybe even sooner.
In the meantime if your kiddos are itching for some fun spring printables, hop on over to the coloring/word search spring sets. They are sure to bring smiles 🙂
